Aboriginal & Indigenous Education

At our school, we are proud to stand alongside our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families.

We work together with students, teachers and families to create Personalised Learning Pathways (PLP's) that reflect each child's strengths, dreams and spirit. It's about making sure that our Indigenous students feel seen, heard and valued. Connection to community is everything.

Our Yarn Up BBQ's bring mob together on school grounds - a place to share stories, build relationships and keep that strong sense of belonging alive.

Students take part in cultural dance and learn Dharug Language, strengthening connection to local Country and the knowledge of the world's oldest continuing culture.

At our school, Aboriginal education is everyone's responsibility. We are committed to creating a culturally safe space where our young people can stand tall in culture and walk confidently in both worlds.
